AB - Increased mental and psychological wounds and problems in modern humans has resulted in improve the recognition about the importance and necessity of bibliotherapy, and an increase in research related to bibliotherapy. We need to analyze the trend of bibliotherapy research at this point in time from various viewpoints for future development of research on bibliotherapy and establishment of recognition for bibliotherapy. Therefore, in this study, we conducted a comparative analysis of trends of bibliotherapy research between Korea and Japan. The study focuses on research academic papers related to bibliotherapy published in Korea and Japan from 1960 to 2016, and the was analyzed and examined from three viewpoints - (1) Research paper, (2) Utilization of terms, and (3) Academic field & Research Method.
