ABSTRACT

As digital technologies rapidly advance, the education sector is also undergoing significant transformations in software and artificial intelligence. In response, the Ministry of Education is integrating AI and software education into the regular curriculum and developing various educational models utilizing digital textbooks. This study aims to analyze AI and SW education models for middle school students, focusing on the operational cases of the Digital Saessak(Software AI Camp) program. To achieve this, we will examine the program’s operational methods and learning outcomes to derive an effective educational model for strengthening middle school students’ foundational AI and SW competencies. Furthermore, by exploring ways to link the identified learning elements with the regular curriculum, we propose a more systematic AI and SW education model for middle school students.
