AB - In our society today, kidnaping and the crime related with children and kidnapping is a serious social issue. The crime is happening near residential areas, playgrounds and parks and it is getting outrageous. The government is making various systems to protect these concerns but it is not enough. CCTV are installed near residential areas, streets and alleys due to the development of IT technology but it is not the perfect way to prevent the crime because those CCTVs are available for the gathering of the evidence after the crime occurs not for the protection before the crime occurs. Under this current social situation, we have to pay attention to protect the fragile children. The guard system for children is operated by National Police Agency and the local governments to prevent the crimes. Recent researches show that the guard system for children has to be studied additionally to protect kids positively due to unsatisfactory outcomes. In addition, it is necessary to implement an application that provides the child's relief service by using the position information obtained by using the GPS and the information at the corresponding position in the range designated by the user. This paper aims to find a safety system to be possible for monitoring children using GPS on I-phones which can provide information to parents and saves the information of kids location at database server through wireless networks.
