ABSTRACT

The purpose of this research is to provide reflection of dance art instructors’ teaching experience through autoethnography as a good alternative when art instructors face difficult situations. The research is based on the materials that I have accumulated for the 8 years of teaching experience as an art instructor including class logs, class evaluations, memory responses of students, personal memory data and self-reflection data. In this research, I reflect on my own classes through autoethnography based on my teaching experience on the ground. When teaching a dance class, the subjects of my relationships are divided into “school teachers” and “students,” and “the role and reflection of dance art instructors” are classified lastly.
