ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to analyze the dance appreciation activity appearing in the third and fourth grade elementary physical education textbooks and guidebooks based on the 2015 revised curriculum. The frequency analysis and the percentage of eight kinds of Korean authorized textbooks calculated and the results were as follows. First, in the analysis of dividing the ratio of appreciation activities in textbooks and guidebooks, in terms of the ratio of dance appreciation subjects to all subjects, YBM was found to be the highest at 25% among eight textbooks. Second, Most textbooks were presenting an appreciation activity as a follow up activity after individual or group creation, or an appreciation activity for dance appreciation.
