ABSTRACT

This study examined the current status of national university dance-related liberal arts courses centered on creativity and convergence capabilities, and related cases of liberal arts courses at National University of Education. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, the management of dance-related courses based on creativity and convergence competence has not yet been actively conducted based on the National University. Second, through the example of the operation of the liberal arts course <Dance in Popular Culture> of A University of Education, students were able to grasp the following meanings. Students recognized it as an opportunity to accumulate cultural capital through new experiences, and also they were cultivating creative ideas and problem-solving skills. In addition, they were individually searching for various methods of creativity and fusion to reconstruct existing knowledge, and they recognized the necessity of developing such creative and fusion skills in the future.
