ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of Work Life and Balance(WLB) of professional dancers on job satisfaction and organizational commitment. The question of this study investigated how 1) WLB of professional dancers affected job satisfaction and organizational commitment, and 2) how job satisfaction of professional workers affected organizational commitment. A survey was conducted on 171 dancers working in dance companies located in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. As a result, it was found that the dancer’s WLB had a positive effect on job satisfaction, and job satisfaction had a positive effect on organizational commitment. It was found that the dancer’s WLB did not have a significant effect on organizational commitment. Through follow-up studies, it is necessary to analyze in detail how the WLB of dancers affects on job satisfaction and organizational commitment.
