ABSTRACT
This study analyzed the system of competencies to plan performances that should be improvedaccording to the following research procedures to investigate measures for promoting competencies toplan performing arts. First, a preliminary survey was conducted with 183 persons in the effective samplesof performing artists to test the necessity of research. Second, questions of a questionnaire weredeveloped through a preliminary survey, an analysis of literature materials, and an expert group meeting.
Third, this study analyzed 218 persons in the effective samples of employees in the fields of theater,opera, musical, dance, and music in performing arts. Accordingly, detailed factors of personnelmanagement, leadership, and marketing in the system of competencies for planning performances weredrawn as results.
