ABSTRACT

In this paper, I present that the difference of an pronunciation between Korean pronunciation and Chinese about the retroflex final, when it is sounded at the following syllables. Specially, in Korean's pronounces, the rule of a prolonged sound is distinguished and influence over whole syllables. However, It does not exposed an unusual things, when a nasal final or a single vowel is coming as the following syllables, and the rule of prolonged sound is hardly heard. According to this research, the sound of 'shouer' of Korean pronunciation is come to us with a prolonged sound. I would like to say that the reason is not come from the rule of a phoneme, but the system of a phoneme. In other words, Korean pronunciations has only pronounce with own the system of phoneme about 'shouel', 'ouer', 'puercha', 'youerwuan', so the difference of pronunciations between Korean and Chinese can be discriminated in the graphs.
