AB - It is researched how Vietnamese students use adverbs of negation ‘不’,’沒’ and errors are analyzed when they use ‘不’. Also, these errors are classified and causes of errors that happen are analyzed. According to the result of the study, they committed three errors‐‘grammatical errors’, ‘semantic errors’, and ‘errors in use’. The causes of these errors are interference of mother tongue, side effect due to the difficulty of adverb concept in Chinese grammar, and the lack of learners’ efforts.
