ABSTRACT

This study takes “Tokyo Girl”,“Women in Beijing” and “Women in Shanghai as examples, and analyzes the geographical space, social space and spiritual space of the three TV series to reveal the life experiences of different women in similar cities and psychological changes. In terms of the core of spatial narrative, the symbiotic relationship between the city and people, the confrontation and conflict between the city and people, and the joint reconstruction of the city and people are explored. These narrative cores demonstrate how the city, as a complex and diverse space, is intertwined with individual growth, challenges and changes, presenting rich narrative content. This article provides a new perspective for related research from the perspective of studying the spatial narrative of cities and people in the three TV series.
