AB - Themonetarysystem innortheastChinaisverycomplicatedintheFengxi period.ItwasalsoatypicalrepresentativeregionoftheChinesechaosmonetary system atthattime.ThecurrencyissuedbyChinesefinancialinstitutionscould bedividedintotwokinds:silverstandardandcopperstandard,eachhavinghard currency kind and paper currency kind, circulating in different areas. Furthermore,therearemanykindsofsmallamountcurrenciesissuedbyprivate businessmen,alsocirculatedinalimitedarea.Forforeigncurrencies,themainly circulation kindsin northeastChina were Russian currency and Japanese currency.Theycouldalsobedividedintothesilverstandardkindandthegold standardkind.Themainreasonsforthechaosofthemonetarysystem innortheastChinainthatperiodcouldbeanalyzedasfollowing:themixedusingof metalliccurrencyandpapermoneyinthesametimeplusthemixedusingofsilverdollarandtael;thepowerofcurrencyissuewasverydispersedandexcessive issue;theinvasionoftheforeigncurrencysystem;theinternationalfinancialsituation’schangesandinfluencesandsoon
