ABSTRACT

As the job environmental changes with price discount is increased in the family restaurant, service employees experience heavy work load and feel the job dissatisfaction.The main purpose of this study is to find out the effect of the price discount on job satisfaction and customer orientation of service employees in the family restaurants.A factor analysis delineated five dimensions of the price discount: mental burnout, job efficiency, support of work, change of work, self-realization. Finally the regression analysis yielded mental burnout had negatively influence on job satisfaction and customer orientation of service employees. however, Support of work had positively influence, self-realization had negatively influence on customer orientation of service employees, and the higher job satisfaction, the higher customer orientation.The findings of this study suggest that restaurant managers should understand service employees and make good use of price discount in the family restaurants.핵심용어(Key words):가격할인(Price discount), 직무만족(Job satisfaction),고객지향성(Customer orientation), 패밀리 레스토랑(Family Restaurants)
