ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study is to estimate the possibility of Kyongju Culture Expo as a international tourist destination. For this, this article presents a literature review of evaluation and responsiveness of international tourism resources and culture event. The field survey has produced responses from 400 individuals and among them, 310 were used for data analysis. The survey target was foreign visitors who went out from the site after they had finished sightseeing. For analysing, factor analysis using the principal component analysis and the linear regression analysis with OLS were used to estimate the hypotheses. In final, the tourist value have long been considered an important variable for market segmentation. Single value may be grouped on the basis of their importance rating into higher order value domain, and the differential weighting of these domains represents a degree of tourist's value. Evaluation of tourism resource serve to maintain tourist's satisfaction and consistent behaviour in those situation where one or more value may be in conflict.
