ABSTRACT

This research suggested development strategies for the experience tourism product of Cheongyang Korean Chicken. Based on a close look at the previous success and failure cases of experience tourism product developments in Korea and other countries, the importance and basic direction of experience tourism products of Cheongyang Korean chicken were addressed. Then, Cheongyang Korean Chicken Festival was suggested for the strategy of developing experience tourism product of Cheongyang Korean Chicken. Specifically, three major areas of the development, including Cheongyang Korean Chicken Tourism Village development, Cheongyang Korean Chicken University centered economic development, and revolutionary change of rural amenity design, were proposed.
