AB - This study explored the relationship between serious leisure and flow, conducting in depth interview with 10 ceramic act students. interview data were conducted over a total three times, findings from interviews were recorded and utilized for analysis. As a results, three groups of ceramic art students are positive effects on both flow and subjective happiness as a serious leisure, but each of the groups considered important characteristics of serious leisure was confirmed a little bit different. and these difference results are show that somewhat different with previous researches, which is caused by among groups of ceramic art participants. The major contribution of this study is that it confirm differences of perception among three participation groups about serious leisure, and it will be able to provide very useful implications for the characteristic of serious leisure studies in the future.
