AB - This research aims to figure out how hotel Employees would react in accepting blockchain technology, a new innovative technology. Despite social interests and various advantages of blockchain, it still remains a new technology in the field of tourism which has not been spread widely. Thus, based on Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), we attempted to check the extent of acceptance. The characteristics of blockchain were categorized as security, reliability and economy according to the hotel reservation field and the research attempted to figure out the influences that these characteristics have on perceived ease, perceived usefulness, perceived value and acceptance intention. A total of 275 hotel Employees dealing with hotel reservation system were surveyed to verify this. Research analysis showed that among blockchain characteristic variables, the factor of economy was found to affect perceived ease but did not have an influence on perceived usefulness and perceived value. Security showed a influence on perceived usefulness and perceived value but did not have an influence on perceived ease. In addition, reliability showed a positive influence on perceived value, perceived usefulness, perceived ease and the rest of the hypothesis were all proven valid.
