ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study is to analyze whether there is a difference in satisfaction of inbound group tourists to Korea depending on the destination composition of package tour products. In detail, this study analyzed the difference in the satisfaction of travel according to the number of regions visited and the difference in travel satisfaction according to the composition of the visited regions. For the analysis, package tour data were used from the raw data of the 2018 International Visitor Survey. As a result, there were statistically significant differences in overall satisfaction, immigration processes, getting directions, shopping, tourism information services, attractiveness of the tourist destinations, language communication, travel expenses, security, revisit intention, and recommendation intention according to the number of regions visited. There were also significant differences in the immigration processes, shopping, tourism information services, attractiveness of the tourist destinations, language communication, travel expenses, security, revisit intention, and recommendation intention according to the composition of the regions visited. Using the results of this analysis, this study suggests implications for inducing tourists to visit the regions and strategies for composing package tour products by travel agencies.
