ABSTRACT

In this paper, based on the preset situation of foreign tourists visiting Korea for 40 years, about Chinese youke who visited Korea the most, analyze trend of change before and after THAAD placement decision on the Korean peninsula. On the other hand, after the announcement of the THAAD placement, the Chinese government’s decision to ban visiting Korea. This will be examined in detail. Also, in China’s retaliation against Japan, will also look at the prospects for the Korean tourism industry. Therefore, in addition to providing objective utilization data, contribute to the policy and direction of the Korean tourism industry in accordance with the THAAD retaliation. China eventually overtake Japan in 2013, THAAD placement was decided in July 2016, but until October 2017, China is the largest country to visit Korea. It also opened a new era in the Korean tourism industry by February 2017. In December 2016, China’s ‘Korea wave Prohibition Order’ has become a serious issue. However, the order to ban the visits to Korea began in March 2017. But in March, April until October, China is still Korea’s largest visitor. But with the THAAD revenge of China, Korea’s exports decreased by 33.7%, GDP decreased by 2.08%. The fact that the United States is included as a subject is a difficult problem to solve. Therefore, the development of the Korean tourism industry, where the Korean tourism industry can flourish despite the political problems, remains a top priority. But now the largest consumer market in the world is China. Can not neglect a Chinese youke’s. Therefore, it should be noted that it is possible to improve Korea-China relations under the Korean ‘Sambul policy’.
