ABSTRACT

In this study, the researcher tried to investigate the impact of creative convergence competency and creative leadership on self-directed learning ability of university students. The purpose of this study was to examine the correlation between creative convergence competency and creative leadership, and whether creative convergence competency and creative leadership competencies play an important role in self-directed learning. As a result, 280 students were tested for creative convergence competency, creative leadership test, and self-directed learning ability test. Consequentially, we were able to confirm the correlation and influence between creative convergence competency, creative leadership, and self-directed learning ability. Therefore, it will be effective to develop and operate a curriculum that can link three variables in order to improve creative convergence competency, creative leadership and self-directed learning ability as core competencies required in future society.
