AB - The purpose of this study is to explore and interpret the meaning of how teachers, who are the subjective existences of educational reform, perceive the attributes of the diffusion of the teacher learning community. Achieved through qualitative meta-analysis used as a research method, and Rogers’ diffusion theory employed as a theoretical framework. We find that the attributes of diffusion cover several aspects regarding teachers. First, in terms of relative advantage, it includes enhancing profession, satisfaction, and institutional benefit. Second, for compatibility, the attributes of diffusion show the sense of vocation, valuing education, and a culture of trust. Third, on the other hand, it includes misunderstandings, conflicts, and physical and psychological barriers related to the complexity. Fourth, with the trial-ability, diffusion attributes include trying in an accommodative atmosphere and a practical and specific idea.
Finally, in terms of observable points, it includes checking performance through experiences, and indirect experience by sharing examples. The results of this study will contribute to the qualitative and quantitative spread of the teacher learning community.
