AB - The purpose of this study was to examine sexual knowledge, HPV knowledge, and HPV vaccine acceptance of health and non-health-related male undergraduate students. The subjects were 103 male undergraduate students majoring in health or non-health-related departments at two universities in metropolitan areas. Data were collected by self-reported questionnaires including sexual knowledge, HPV knowledge, and HPV vaccine acceptance using an online survey from June to August 2022. Data analysis was performed through descriptive statistics, t-tests, and linear regression using the SPSS statistics version 22.0 program. The results showed that there is only a significant difference in sexual knowledge between health and non-health-related male undergraduate students (t=3.936, p<.001), but not HPV knowledge and HPV vaccine acceptance. In addition, sexual knowledge of health and non-health-related male undergraduate students was a significant factor in HPV knowledge (t=5.337, p<.001). Therefore, a university education encompassing sexual and HPV knowledge for male undergraduate students should be done regardless of the major. Future studies with representative populations and application of sexual and HPV education for male undergraduate students are recommended.
