ABSTRACT

In 2022, Gangwon-do declared Chuncheon as the Children’s Capital. Chuncheon has established itself as a Children’s capital with the opening of Legoland in 2022, KT&G Sangsang Madang, puppet theater, animation museum, and Chuncheon National Children’s Museum. Th is paper aims to explore Cha Sang-chan’s juvenile activities in order to establish Chuncheon’s historical and cultural identity as well as its spatiality as a children’s capital. In this paper, I proposed an idea of experiential path, in which Cha Sang-Chan's juvenile activities, such as the Children's Day declaration, the World Children's Art Exhibition, and the scenic spot voting plan, are inherited and preserved. By inheriting and modernizing the spirit of Cha Sang-chan’s juvenile activities through <Bomnaecheongo-gil> and <Children’s Declaration Road>, Chuncheon will establish its historical and cultural identity as a Children’s capital and be reborn as a city where children’s culture blooms.
