ABSTRACT

The movie <Inside Men> received a lot of attention for its relevance to real politics. Many people have been shocked by the collusive relationship between the political and business world and the media, scenes of sexual favors, or thescenes of political gangsters and prosecutorial power depicted in the movie <Inside Men>. As a result, <Insiders> remained a film with a very high response from audiences, but the inherent approach to this text had to be put on hold. In other words, research on the video aesthetic value of <Inside Men> or the meaning of film grammar has not been conducted in depth. The purpose of this study is to consider and analyze the aesthetic characteristics and cinematic personality of <Inside Men>, which have remained limited so far. <Inside Men> emerged not only as a text that attracted attention because it was a reflection of Korean politics or reality, but also as a film work that evoked deep sympathy by appropriately utilizing the effect of repetition as a unique aesthetic structure.
