In this study, the aspects and meaning of the amhaeng-eosa content were examined, focusing on TV dramas. Through this, we will be ableto seethe adaptation of the amhaeng-eosa story. The amhaeng-eosa is one of the political systems of the Joseon Dynasty and is an actual historical fact. Their stories were widely talked about as folk tales, which gaveriseto various works of fiction. When the amhaeng-eosa system was abolished, amhaeng-eosa story continue to exist today through various media. In particular, TV dramas arethe bestexample of this. Among them, in KBS2’s <The amhaeng-eosa :Joseon Secret Inspector Team> and tvN’s <The Eosa and Joy>, amhaeng-eosa groups can help with the work of the amhaeng-eosa and tell various stories. Various materials, including past and present, are used. The problem-solving structure of the amhaeng-eosa stories appears. The amhaeng-eosa in a TV drama contains viewers’ expectations for the appearance of heroes. By adding cultural and modern aspects to the story of the amhaeng-eosa, we can reflect the contemporary times. The problem-solving structure allows for the setting of subplots, the transition of detailed genres, and the entry and exit of characters. From the above, the content of the amhaeng-eosa has value as a creative Korean prototype.
