ABSTRACT

The Sacrificial Rite of heaven and land is a sort of political action that was served to legitimacy by the sanctity of the heaven. As the king of Baekje performed the rites, he was recognized the legitimacy of his line and strengthen royal authority. The Sacrificial Rite of heaven and land was a lot of similarity of the Suburb Sacrificial Rite. But The Suburb Sacrificial Rite(郊祀) was not completely tuned in China, so It was hard to say be implemented in Baekje. But At that time, A newcomer to the German political regime was the first performing like enforced, so-called ‘The regime in the sky to tell that they had changed(卽位告天)’. Baekje also rites things that you should look at the same vein. After the Giriyeong(崎離營) Battle, the King Goi’s(古爾) dominates the sovereign authority of Han(韓). He was putting ideological control by using the Ritual System(禮制) in that area. Baekje want to internally secure its legitimacy and externally control the newly trancfer grops. So they carry out the Sacrificial Rite of heaven and land(天地祭祀).
