ABSTRACT
The novels written by the so-called April 19 Revolution generation of Korea are engraved with an awareness of denied existence and the struggle for recognition in common. In the novels by the April Revolution generation, the novelists suggest acts of literature as a way of denying a denied existence, and they prove their value of existence and subjectify themselves in their self consciousness.
