AB - This thesis aims to figure out the North Korea's education scheme through the ideal model of teacher in a work of film & drama. A film & drama of the North Korean have worked on as a means of propagation and agitation for education of political thought and cultural of appreciation of the North Korean peoples. An Ideal of the North Korean Education in a work of film & television drama is to bear the North Korean student members of the society, passive being who have to obey the dictation without condition, a subjective communist (an ‘juche type’ human being). Also the teacher had to carry out everything based on sacrifice and devotion as a fosterer of members of the society in order to be equipped requirements as a member of the society.
The teacher in a work of film and television drama had to carry out their social duty as a professional revolutionist & a fosterer of revolutionary posterity and simultaneously they have ambition to make their mark in the world. There is sometimes discord between their social duty and their ambitions. The discordance between the ideal model of teacher and the actual model of teacher have become larger after the economic difficulties. None the less the discordance between ideal & reality, an ideal model of teacher in a work of film & television drama aims to enlighten the North Korean people and to normalize the abnormal operation of education that the North Korean education have managed irregularly after the economic difficulties.
