ABSTRACT

Mainly, the purpose of the current study was to analyze problematic matters on support systems for college students with disabilities offered by their universities. It was based on the results of the study which was conducted by the ministry of education in the year of 2005, ‘The survey on educational support systems for college students with disabilities'. Furthermore the needs in terms of providing support for students with disabilities was discussed. In order to overcome those concerns and limitations several issues were addressed. The following is a list of issues that were need to be addressed. First, the support systems should be implemented in a manner of student-centered. Second, educational programs should be offered especially for students with disabilities. Third, individualized support programs should be provided. Forth, resources should be re-systemized in a better manner. Last, community based approach should be addressed.攀논문 접수: 2007. 2. 12 심사 시작: 2007. 2. 20 게재 확정: 2007. 3. 23攀攀Finally, this study suggested that, in order to guarantee the rights of appropriate learning for the students with disabilities, policies on support systems should be set up and financial supports from the government should be provided to those colleges.
