ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to speculate on how the association program has an effect on the ability of language, naming of Traumatic Brain Injury(TBI) patients and find out the progress of the language ability. Three patients suffering from TBI took part in this study. In order to investigate the effectiveness of program, the ability of language and the ability of naming were accordingly performed and researched on the basis of results before and after the test. Results of this study were as follows; Firstly, the result of K-WAB test showed that individual score of each section and total score were higher than before the test and proved that the program had a positive effect on the progress of the language ability. Secondly, the program demonstrated that it helped all of the subjects to improve their ability of naming. In conclusion, according to the various results of this thesis, the word association program has a positive effect on the TBI patients and help them to improve their language ability.
