ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to investigate and analyze the relationship between ubiquitous, new paradigm of IT and lifelong education, new paradigm of education for the realization of lifelong learning society. To carry out this purpose, the definition, specific character, tendency were analyzed according to literatures. And finally proposed the special education's problems to be solved. The conclusions are as follows. First, ubiquitous is a new information communication environment which will be able to connect in the network freely irrespective of time, space and machinery. Second, lifelong education is a new educational network which generally integrates and re-composes a whole life and social educational activity. Third, ubiquitous characters such as ubiquity and intelligence or autonomous characteristic have the value as the tool for the lifelong education. Fourth, the next problems must be solved in special education category ; identity characteristic establishment, a vocational education reinforcement and activity of the employment, cultivation of information management capacity, multidisciplinary approach for lifelong education and ubiquitous, demonstrate application assertion of ubiquitous technology in special education.
