ABSTRACT

This study is aimed for revealing differences of Neuropsychological Working Memory characteristics of children with learning disability of mathematical. The sample consists of 20 math learning disability children, 20 normal children. ‘Rey-Kim memorial Test for children’ was employed as an investigation tool for finding memorial characteristics traits of each group in this study. This tool is comprised of Two small tests, which are ‘K-AVLT Test’, and ‘K-CFT’. This study conducted MANOVA by using SPSS 14.0 program so as to verify whether there are significant differences among each group. The following findings are derived based on this study’s results and debates. First, Among math learning disability and normal children, there are obvious differences of the capability of ‘The point of quantity’ and ‘The point of quality’ in the Two small tests. Second, there are meaningful differences of the capability of memorial quotient(MQ). Third, there are also different between the simple and the complex Working Memory. Therefore, this study indicated math learning disability showed lower working momerial ability than normal children, and math learning disability requires distinguished working memorial vitallization teaching and mediating method.
