ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of Group Art Therapy on employment stress, coping strategies, social support of life in a university students with disabilities. This study was conducted on 12 W university students with disabilities. For these research subjects, 60 minutes of group art therapy was conducted twice a week, 20 times total. Repeated measures ANOVA was used to compare any significant differences among research subjects' pre, post and follow up state. To figure out the factors which effect on employment stress, multiple regression analysis was used. As a result, this group art therapy program significantly reduced university students' employment stress and improved their social support. About employment stress, the stronger their social support is, the lower their employment stress is. Thus this research is meaningful to use art therapy for alleviating university students with disabilities' employment stress. It will be possible to apply this program usefully as a psycho-social intervention program in relieving university students' employment stress.
