ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study is to suggest the field contribution and improvement of expert 1 qualification training for secondary special education teacher. The survey was conducted and analyzed 161 secondary special education teachers. The results are follows; First, Secondary special education teachers had expectation to develop professional understanding on the basic curriculum for students with special needs through teacher qualification training. Also, they weren't satisfied with in service trining contents compared to their expectation. So they perceived that field contribution of expert level 1 qualification training was not good. On the one hand, they were satisfied with training contents related on the teaching methods and subject expertise. Second, the improvements was suggested to be more field application possibility.
