ABSTRACT

In order to accomplish the educational goals for students with disabilities, the Special Education Law for Persons with Disabilities and Others, which was enacted in 2007, introduces the special education related services that provide human and physical resources along with general public education. To guarantee the right to education of students with disabilities and to improve the quality of education, it is necessary to study the therapeutic effect. The purpose of this study is to investigate the perception of therapeutic effect by using Concept Mapping method. The stakeholders’perception on therapeutic effect were found into 2 dimensions; Children’s direct change – Children’s indirect change and Change of social awareness of therapy support - Parental change. And 5 clusters were finalized to present therapeutic effect concept: Expansion of therapeutic support institutions, Activation of therapeutic support institutions, Consultation and atmosphere for therapeutic support, Parents' Understanding about children, and Generalization of child function. Concept mapping were shown on the 2 dimension space.
