ABSTRACT

This study focuses on the importance of dance participation for menopausal women, aiming to improve their psychological health by investigating the psychological effects of dance. It is intended to lay the foundation for developing dance programs tailored to the age-related characteristics of menopausal women to enhance their psychological health. The results are as follows. First, there are significant differences in general characteristics and psychological health among menopausal women. Second, dance participation negatively impacts the depression subfactor of psychological health. Third, dance participation among menopausal women negatively affects the mental health subfactor of psychological health. Fourth, dance participation negatively influences life satisfaction as a subfactor of psychological health.
