ABSTRACT

This study investigates the structural relationships among professional identity, psychological resilience, reflective thinking ability, and teaching competency in Chinese pre-service dance teachers. Using data from 559 valid responses, the hypotheses were tested through frequency analysis, reliability testing (Cronbach's α), confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), and structural equation modeling (SEM) with PASS 27 and AMOS 24. The findings indicate that all three variables—professional identity, resilience, and reflective thinking—significantly influence teaching competency. Furthermore, professional identity positively affects resilience and reflection reflective thinking, both of which serve as partial mediators in enhancing teaching ability.
