ABSTRACT

This study aimed to analyze the expression domain in the third- and fourth-grade physical education textbooks based on the 2022 revised curriculum, in order to identify the characteristics of curriculum implementation and suggest developmental directions for future textbook development. Using content analysis focused on textbook structure and content organization, the expression domain of ten textbooks was examined. Based on the findings, key considerations for the field of elementary dance education are proposed. The results of this study are as follows: First, the analysis of the expression domain in the third- and fourth-grade physical education textbooks based on the 2022 revised curriculum revealed a consistent structure and organization across the textbooks. Second, the content organization of the expression domain generally reflected the components and achievement standards of the revised curriculum.
