AB - Since the founding of the country, Joseon dynasty had put stress on the relation with China. They set up 'Sa-youk-won' (the government office which take charge of the works of the translation and interpretation) and left a lot of research data and works of translation.
Especially Sejong the Great made phonology scholar, Sin Suk-Joo and Sung Sam-mun compile "Hong Moo Jung Woun Youk Hun" which show the reading of Chinese consonantal character in "Hong Moo Jung Woun" (the phonology book which was compiled at the first king of Ming dynasty, 1375) in Hangeul.
Furthermore, he tried to contribute to the teaching the Chinese language by having a scholar Whang Chan revise the book and widely extended the education.
(1) 'Young-sung-mo-wha' (changing into zero phonetic value or becoming soundless) of '의‘(ei) consonant.
(2) Changing into voiceless sounds from voiced sounds.
But there is an exception among the Molar sound.
(3) Changing into a voiced consonant (Cha-chung-um-wha) of the Lingual sound 'jung'.
(4) Changing into an unvoiced consonant (Jun-chung-um-wha) from voiced consonant among the Dental sound.
