AB - Chu Hsi is the first to classified “FU, BI, XING” of 《the Book of Odes》 and 《CHU CI》. Especially, his analysis and resulting from research about 《the Book of Odes》 had been set great store by scholars of the time and after ages. Because his commentation about 《the Book of Odes》 synthesized poem of Han dynasty and Tang dynesty, so he made best record at study about “FU, BI, XING”, also had a strong influence on study of after ages. Chu Hsi has argued “XING is consignation!” in 《A variorum of CHU CI》, also has argued “BI is compare! XING is bring about one’s mind!”. Rely on the testimony of this point, Chu Hsi not only agreed basically the opinions that “contact cause emotion” and “emotion and scene” is matched, but also rendered clearly concept and differentia between “BI and XING” in logical consistency
