ABSTRACT

This paper is to construct the theoretical framework whether stimuli factors or crowdness itself at congested area could have impacts on the tourists’ emotional responses and on the tourists’ activities. Results of the analysis: firstly, stimuli factors were found interrelated to crowding perception of tourists; secondly, stimuli factors and levels of crowding perception had an significant impact on intra and inter displacement, and shortening of staying period; thirdly, tourists’ perceived response was significantly related to adjusting their activities.
