AB - 凌叔华是中国现代文学史上出现较早的女作家之一，她独有的女性观点借助小说表现了女性的自我意识。出生于封建仕宦之家的她，自幼浸染于这样封建家庭的大家族中，耳闻目睹了旧女性的悲惨命运。作为一名新女性的凌叔华细心关怀时代的变幻当中几被忽略、遗忘的旧女性的历史命运与她们的生存价值。她从处女作《女儿身世太凄凉》开始一直关注20世纪初期的中国旧女性，陆续创作出《吃茶》、《绣枕》、《茶会以后》等的小说作品。这系列作品自然形成了她初期文学创作的主要风格，被称为新闺秀派女作家的代表。作家笔下的女主人公虽然都是名门闺秀，但仍由于性别观念受压抑，是一群封建价值体系最具体实现的对象。本文通过对凌叔华的几篇有关旧女性小说的解读，来分析凌叔华写作所包含的女性意识以及旧女性的性整体性。
