Team-based project learning and Keller's ARCS motivation theory were selected as teaching methods to be utilized. The 'service practice and reflection' stage consisted of class progress, learner education service, analysis of service instructional guidance, and service learning observation and reflection journaling. In the 'encouragement and evaluation' stage, the reflection journal and 'media literacy ability self-diagnosis' And 'Satisfaction Survey' analysis.
Through this process, it was found that a specific system for writing a reflection journal and a method to increase the level of interactivity and various mediation of reflection should be prepared. In addition, it was possible to confirm the suitability and possibility of the <Understanding Media Literature> course as a service learning course that can raise citizens' awareness by establishing an academic knowledge system and realizing practical experiences.
