ABSTRACT

The purpose of this exploratory study was to investigate the formation of human relationship focusing on relations between teachers and students in school. In this paper, we analyze various literature and previous researches to understand what human - human relationship is in essence, and discuss the process of human relationship formation in school. In addition, we explain the human relationship in the school through the movie "Teacher Kim Bong Doo". Human beings are sociable beings with an instinct to crave and desire to break relationship in their birth, and mutual relations are inevitable. Human relations are interactions with others who are presumed to be interdependent, and the root cause of the human relations problem is derived from the desire for Charity, so it should aim for a Charity relationship that is a authentic human relationship. A Charity relationship can be explained by a concern in the external part and an concern toward the inner center. The framework that describes the formation process is the Concern, Communication, Comprehension, and Consideration, and Charity. And it was named as 5C. As a result of applying the 5C to the teacher 'Kim Bong - do', the phase of the relationship of Concern-Communication-Comprehension-Consideration-Charity appeared in the temporal flow of the movie. This can be interpreted as showing that 5C can function as an appropriate frame to form human relationships. Therefore, it can be seen that fulfilling the process of Concern, Communication, Comprehension, and Consideration, and Charity described in the 5C to form and improve better human relationships provides important implications for all human relations.
