The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between early childhood teachers’teacher efficacy, perception of problematic behavior in young children, and guidance strategies. Also, it was confirmed that there was a difference between these variables according to the teacher’s background (institution type, work experience, age, education). The subjects of the survey were 190 teachers working at day care centers located in the metropolitan area (Seoul, Gyeonggi Province). The collected data were analyzed using SPSS statistics 24.0 program. The results of this study were as follows: First, there was no significant correlation between early childhood teacher’s efficacy and perception of problematic behavior, but there was a correlation between teacher efficacy and teaching strategies. Second, according to the background variables of early childhood teachers, there were partial differences in teachers' efficacy, perception of problematic behavior and teaching strategies for problematic behavior in young children. In teacher efficacy according to the background variables, there was a difference in all variables except for working type. Although there was no significant difference in the awareness of problematic behavior in young children according to the background variables, the difference in teaching strategies for problematic behavior was significant. Based on the results of the analysis of the relationship between these variables, it will be helpful to establish a teacher education system that can guide the problem behavior of young children.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between sociability, activity and emotionality of infants, which are the sub-factors of temperament, and their mothers' self-esteem, social parenting, value of children, self-efficacy, parenting stress and depression, which are the major factors of maternal parenting. The 3rd-year data of Panel Study on Korean Children were used, and two independent samples t-test, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were carried out to analyze the data. The findings of the study were as follows: First, there were close mutual relationships between the maternal parenting factors and infant temperament. Second, the self-esteem, social upbringing, and emotional value expectations of children, which are positive factors of mothers’parenting, have a positive effect on infant temperament. Given the findings of the study, temperament should be regarded as a variable factor, rather than as an invariable one, in studies of infants and preschoolers. This study implies that the research on infant studies is based on factors that can be changed without changing the temperament.

The purpose of this study was to propose an effective university lecture course to enhance self-directed learning ability of university students by confirming whether online class is effective for improving self-directed learning ability of university students. Accordingly self-directed learning test (Lee, Park, & Kim, 2017) was conducted before and after the on-line self-directed learning lesson. This study examined the effect of online self-directed learning on the self-directed learning of university students. In addition, researchers intended to identify the differences in the degree of self-directed learning among university students participating in online self-directed learning class by gender, grade and major, and to provide suggestions for developing self-directed learning curriculum. The results of this study are expected to provide an opportunity for college students to improve their self-directed learning ability and to find out what contents and methods will be effective on the online learning of university students.
