ABSTRACT

This study, through an empirical analysis of the wage standards of employed persons with cerebral palsy, factors that affect their employability and wage standards are examined, and also aims to draw out the social welfare policies for improvement in their employment rate and wage standards. The summary of the results are as follows. Looking at the effect of each factor on wage, the wage was predictable from marital status, age bracket, education level, discrimination, simple labor, and scale of employer. Suggestions for welfare practice and establishment and execution of policies for the welfare of disabled for solving wages of persons with cerebral palsy are as follows. First, the social model of disability corresponding to the Social model surrounding the persons with cerebral palsy and labor market segmentation theory have a great impact on salary; for this reason, social responsibility for the disability is great to some extent.
