ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to investigate research trends and issues in inclusive education related to methods and content of the Disability Understanding Program. 95 research papers selected from master's thesis, dissertation, journal articles which were published through 1990 to 2006 were examine in each main research areas, such as research participants, research design and research procedure. Findings demonstrated as follows; firstly, Simple Disability Understanding Program and Anti-Bias curriculum based on knowledge and information delivery were mostly used as intervention program. Therefore more intervention program with various content and pattern is needed for the future research. secondly, research participants in 95 papers selected were preschooler and elementary school children. little research performed preliminary study and as many researchers did intervention program in regular class time, student's right of education may disregard.
