AB - The purpose of this study is providing with the direction and implicationfor the study of prospective teacher for special education by analyzingexisting studies in Korea of prospective teacher for special education. Total72 studies were chosen for the analysis. The analysis was done by theaspects in study object, study type, study theme and approach method. Theresult of the study is as following. First, regarding the study object, Othermajors are frequently not presented separately. Regarding the study type,there were more investigative studies and qualitative studies. Object onresearch majored research as teaching practice. Second, regarding theapproach method, the result of this study is stated in the four dimensionsof norms, structure, composition and technique. There was no study, whichwas done in normative dimension; therefore, more active study in normativedimension is urgently required. Regarding the structure, themes for thedevelopment of programs such as development of tools for class observationand analysis, development of colleague-coaching model and an educationutilizing a robot were studied. Regarding the composition, the interest onthe concrete experience or awareness of a prospective teacher for specialeducation before becoming a teacher was emphasized. Regarding the technique,more studies attempted to examine the effect of education on prospectiveteacher for special education and the change of the teachers by the education.
Based on this study result, this study suggested that it is necessary to attemptmore diversification in the content and method for prospective teacher forspecial education.
