A Survey on the Perception for Inclusive Education Restructuring in Gyeonggi Province

ABSTRACT

This study was a survey conducted to collect basic data concerning inclusive education for special education restructuring plan in Gyeonggi province, Korea: 4ㆍ16 education system of Gyeonggi-do Office of Education shall aim at education students happy. To accomplish the goal of this study, the data were analyzed 2084 persons who participated in the survey. And separated by a special school teacher and special class teachers were subjected to frequency analysis and chi-square test. The results of this study were as follows: First, the main factors that hinder inclusive education was the lack of cooperation and understanding of the integration of general education teachers and administrators. To activate the inclusive education, it was need to form a new school culture. Second, special class identity is independent living and community integration. And it was recognized that the most important interventions to support students special classes for teaching problems and maladaptive behavior. Third, For itinerant education courses substantiality there is a need to reorganize and operate a itinerant classroom in a public school special. Based on the above results, it was discussed in the following: The principal leadership, school culture, and cooperation with general education teachers and special education teachers, itinerant classroom management.
