Analysis of the Data for Entrance Examination and the Academic Situation of the Applicants for the Special Entrance Programme of C National University of Education

ABSTRACT

As part of the enlargement of the handicapped personnel in government employment, the special entrance programme for the applicants with disabilities has been selected for the entrance examination of the national university of education sine 2005 and the terms of admission restrictions against the handicapped were prohibited. Accordingly, the special entrance programme for the applicants with disabilities has been implemented sine 2005 at C National University of Education. This study was to provide the basic data for better individualized teaching-learning support as well as broader recruiting elementary school teachers who have disabilities but expertise as well by analyzing the data of the entrance examination and the academic performance of the students who were admitted into our university by this special entranced programme since 2005 to 2015. First of all, based on the archives of entrance examination, data of the applicants with disabilities were analyzed such as the changes of entrance examination types, comparison of enrollment between early admission test and standardized admission test, the types of the disorders of students admitted into the university, the passing grades of students with disabilities. Secondly, data of the academic performance of the students with disabilities were analyzed based on the archives such as intensive course chosen by the students with disabilities, college dropout rates of 'leave of absence and expulsion', academic situations of students from practical curriculum with those of students from non-practical curriculum. pass rates of tests for teacher employment.
